Electrolysis is the only 100% permanent hair removal method and the only treatment recognized as permanent hair removal by the FDA. A technique treating individual hairs where an ultra-fast electric

current is emitted at the base of the follicle through a prove.

The number of treatments needed varies depending on the size of the area to be cleared, your hormonal levels, your hair growth cycle, etc. You can minimize the number of treatments needed by following the recommended treatment plan. Electrolysis is effectively in permanently removal of hair, no matter what color - even blond, red, grey or white. Electrolysis is also an effective treatment for clients of all skin colors.

The hair has growth phase and each stage is different for each person. It is affected by such factors as age, weight, sex, metabolism, hormones, ethnic origin, medication, nutrition (diets), environmental

conditions and even stress. Nevertheless, we all share the same hair cycle, broken down into three phases:

1. Anagen: active growth phase of hair influenced by the condition of the dermal papilla. During this phase, the hair papilla is voluminous and made up of a vascular core (electroepilation treatment target). The production of melanin reaches its highest level (photoepilation treatment target).

2. Catagen: a transitional stage during which hair stops growing, but remains attached. At this

point, melanin is no longer produced in the germinative zone.

3. Telogen: the resting phase of hair during which cells are inactive. Consequently, there is no growth of the hair shaft during this phase. Hair begins to shed only when the next growth phase occurs. About 50 to 100 telogen hairs are shed normally each day, accounting for the hair loss seen every day in the shower and with hair combing.

The length of hair varies depending on the body region, age, sex and the individual person. With an anagen phase of 6 to 10 years, hair can reach a length of 1.28 meters (approximately 4 feet). The

anagen phase varies from 1 to 12 months for certain regions of the body, which means hair in these areas can grow from 1 to 6 cm (approximately 0.4 to 2.3 inches). PAINFUL? The treatment is relatively comfortable and you should feel a very light tingling sensation during each session. Let us know if at any point you feel discomfort. The best and easiest way to make your treatments as comfortable as possible is to exfoliate and by staying hydrated 48 hours prior to. Even though Electrolysis is safe and effective, we do not recommend electrolysis to pregnant women. Your Body, Your Gender, Your Process

Male to Female

You probably have a lot of facial and body hair that needs to go away permanently. Regardless of your skin color or hair color, electrolysis can permanently remove hair from any area of your body. We

will work with you and your doctors to make sure that your hair removal treatments mesh properly with the other elements of your transition process.

Female to Male

Your existing hair is probably fine, but the hormone therapy may cause unpredictable new hair growth that needs to be managed. Transitioning to male doesn't mean you want hair everywhere. We can

remove the hair you don't want and shape the hair you do want.
